Working together, Patrick 4 Life and the following organizations are dedicated to educating youth about preventing HIV and AIDS.
The strength of Patrick 4 Life is in its partnerships. All of its initiatives are implemented in concert with participating school boards, the district health unit, the aboriginal community, the local AIDS Committee, parents, teachers and volunteers. All levels of government support our programs and initiatives. Local members of parliament, provincial and federal have been active in assisting Patrick 4 Life with many projects.

As with the other district school boards, the Near North District School Board supports Patrick 4 Life. Since 2006 approximately 5600 students from the Near North District School Board have participated in the elementary school education program recognized as Partici-Patrick.  The board’s contribution to Patrick 4 Life extends to the provision of volunteer teachers to develop curriculum for students from Grades 3 to 8. It also cooperates in all research activities initiated by Patrick 4 Life permitting students, parents and teachers to participate.

The Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic District School Board is engages with Patrick 4 Life.  Together they provide teacher training programs to support teachers with the implementation of the Partici-Patrick program.  The goal of these programs is three-fold: to become familiar with the content of the document, “AIDS: A Catholic Education Approach to HIV; to develop a deeper understanding of Catholic moral teaching and the Christian response to HIV and AIDS; and to plan for the integration of these lessons with Family Life and Religious Education programs.
